An update for my computer running Windows 7 Pro will not install a driver update for my HP USB hub from HP. Is there a way for me  to locate the update and manually download and install "Hewlett-Packard - USB - 2/18/2019 12:00:00 AM - 40.13.1167.1946"?  I cannot find it on the HP Website.

@mooreed, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

To assist you better, what model HP PC are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, check for any pending Windows update on the PC.

To download drivers from Hp Support site, Click here

You may also go to Device manager > Expand USB > right click on the USB hub > Update driver.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

If you feel my post solved your issue, please click “Accept as Solution”, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
