HP X1000 Speakers
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello

I've recently purchased the Hp X1000 Speakers and they are making a constant buzzing/whining/hissing noise when not in use and even in use at lower volumes.

The have tried the following

  1. changing the power cable
  2. plugging them into another pc
  3. adding ferrite rings to the cables
  4. changing the socket they are plugged into
  5. unplugging all electrical devices nearby
  6. updating drivers
  7. lowering volumes both on windows and physically on the dial

Nothing has worked and the noise is driving me crazy.

When i turn on the speakers from the sub they initially won't make the noise however when i attempt to play anything the noise begins and continues after i stop the music/video etc.

I've seen one other post regarding this that is now locked.

any advice or help please?
