Hello.
I got my HP x1000 Wireless Gaming Headset about a year ago. Today while turning it on the charging and on indicator lit up simultaneously. Since then, I cannot switch the device on/off. Pressing/long pressing the power button and the mute button does not do anything. Its been 24hours and I am waiting for the battery to run dry hoping that would hard reset my device. Is there any other solution other than to wait for the battery to run out? Is there any way that I can manually hard reset the device without waiting for my battery to be drained?
Thanks in advance.

@torontan, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP X1000 Wireless Gaming Headset is frozen in a locked state. While waiting for the battery to drain might work, there are a few things you can try before that:
Force Reset (if supported)
>Try pressing and holding the power button for 30–60 seconds to see if it forces a reset.
>If that doesn’t work, try holding both the Power and Mute buttons together for 10–15 seconds.
Charge and Reattempt
>Plug in the headset for at least 30 minutes to ensure it's not stuck due to a low battery.
>After charging, try turning it on again.
Connect to a PC and Reset via Software
>If possible, connect the headset to a PC via USB.
>Check if it is detected and try updating the firmware via HP's support website.
Bluetooth Pairing Mode (Alternative Way to Reset)
>Some headsets allow a reset by entering Bluetooth pairing mode.
>Try holding the Bluetooth and Power buttons together (if applicable).
If none of these steps work, it may be a firmware or hardware issue. We suggest you please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
Kindly follow this link to locate the nearest HP service center: HP® Service Center Locator - United States | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
