HP not recognizing my keboard's serial number

I purchased the G9K400F keyboard online, its from hp, when I'm entering the serial number provided in the label of the box and under the keyboard its shows that the serial number is invalid. What should I do now?

I purchased the G9K400F keyboard from Amazon, It is a hp keyboard, but i bought it in India, when registering on the website, it says, serial number is invalid.
