Product: Omen x by hp mindframe headset

Good day,
I would have a question about one serious product that I would like to order. These are OMEN by HP Mindframe gaming hearing aids and I need to know if they can be connected to the Playstation 4 because I have a USB port and I'm afraid I won't hear the sound when I plug it in.

I don't think any of the Experts here are going to know the answer for sure as there hasn't been anyone who has reported using that Headset on a PS4.

Technically it should work as a basic headset. But you wont be able to control the FrostCap Technology or the RGB lighting as that requires the Omen Command Center to be installed on Windows. I don't think the 7.1 surround will work either, it will most likely be more of a flat sounding stereo sound. Just my guess.

 

My opinion is that the Mindset headset is an expensive set of headphones intended for Windows PCs. I cant imagine the cost being worth paying for a PlayStation setup, since a lot of the functionality will most likely be missing.
