Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

Sorry to post here, but I couldn't see anywhere else to post.

Anyone able to help me program the Fn keys on my new HP355 keyboard?   I want to add PgDn and PgUp.

I tried entering a S/N but it wasn't recognised.

@simons1, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

No worries at all, you're in the right place! For customizing the Fn keys on your HP355 keyboard, you can use Microsoft PowerToys, which allows you to remap keys, including Fn keys, to add functionality like Page Down (PgDn) and Page Up (PgUp). Here's how to do it:

Steps to remap Fn keys using PowerToys:

Download and Install PowerToys:

Go to the official Microsoft store and download the latest version for Windows 11.

Microsoft PowerToys - Download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

After installation, open PowerToys. You can find it by searching in the Start menu.

Once it’s running, you’ll see the PowerToys Settings window.

Use Keyboard Manager:

In the PowerToys settings, on the left sidebar, click on Keyboard Manager.

Click the Remap a key button under the Keyboard Manager section.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
