Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Got you covered! The OMEN 27q monitor stand removal can be a bit tricky at first glance since it’s designed to be tool-free and sleek. Here's how to safely remove the stand:
🔧 Steps to Remove the Stand from the OMEN 27q Monitor:
Lay the Monitor Face Down on a Soft Surface:
- Place a towel or foam on a flat surface (like a table or bed) to avoid scratching the screen.
- Gently lay the monitor face-down.
Locate the Stand Release Button or Tab:
- Where the stand arm connects to the back of the monitor, look for a small release latch or button.
- On the OMEN 27q, it’s often a push-in tab or recessed button near the connection point (just above or around the stand neck area).
Press the Release Tab:
- Hold the base/stand to keep it stable.
- Press the release button/tab firmly inward while pulling the stand straight down or away from the monitor.
- It may take a bit of force, but do not twist—just pull directly outward.
Attach VESA Mount:
- Once the stand is removed, you’ll see the 100x100mm VESA mount holes exposed.
- Use those for your new monitor arm.
💡 Tips:
- If you can't find the release tab, shine a flashlight where the stand meets the back of the monitor—it’s usually camouflaged a bit.
- If you're still stuck, feel free to send me a photo of the stand connection point and I’ll help guide you from there.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
