Hp reverb crashes my computer when I try to install drivers for the WMR. Both automatic and manual methods of installing WMR drivers causes the BSOD. I turned off legacy support and updated the extensible host controller to the microsoft one. I've removed all usb 3.0 devices and left the reverb only and faced with the same problem.
My RIG:
Ryzen 5 2600
msi b450i
vega 56 gpu
16gb ram
650 psu

I'm glad to inform you that my reverb works fine now. How you might ask? got it working by installing an nvidia graphics card instead of the radeon vega 56.
My new card is the 1070ti mini. However, the graphics are not mind blowing graphic as the reviewers said. I hope this helps you out.

Hi I've tried removing the the display port cable and left the usb 3.0 attached and then no more blue screens and drivers were installed. However, as soon as I connect the display port the computer crashes. This rules out the usb 3.0 issue, and someone pointed out in another forum that the "reverb" has issues with Radeon GPU drivers. As soon as you connect it to an Nvidia gpu it will work.
My plan is to install a Nvidia gpu and sell the Radeon. My Rift S didn't have this problem. This is the solution I came up with. I hope this helps.
