Hi @Rennie0226,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

For your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D119AV), which you discovered is similar to the 15-dy2032nr model, you want to ensure that a SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Memory Card is compatible. Here are some considerations:

1. SD Card Slot Compatibility:

  • The HP 15s-fq2000 series laptops typically come with a microSD card reader, not a full-sized SD card slot.
  • If your laptop only has a microSD card slot, a full-sized SD card like the SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I won't fit directly. You would need an SD to microSD adapter, or alternatively, use an external USB SD card reader.

2. Memory Card Type:

  • Your laptop should be able to read SDXC cards, as SDXC is backward compatible with the standard SD card slot format.
  • However, confirm that the card reader can handle high-capacity cards like 1TB. Most modern laptops support this, but older or basic readers might have limitations.

3. Performance Considerations:

  • The SanDisk 1TB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I card offers high read and write speeds which are beneficial for data transfer, but the performance will depend on your laptop's card reader speed capability.
  • Ensure the card reader supports UHS-I speeds; otherwise, you might not fully utilize the high-speed capabilities of the card.

4. Using an External USB SD Card Reader:

  • If your laptop does not support full-sized SD cards directly, you can purchase an external USB SD card reader that supports SDXC UHS-I cards.
  • This solution will allow you to use your 1TB card without any issues related to slot size or performance compatibility.

5. Double-check Specifics:

  • Review the laptop's manual or HP's official specifications page for your exact model (15s-fq2000 or 15-dy2032nr) to confirm the card slot type and supported card capacities.

  • If your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 has a microSD slot, you'll need an adapter or an external reader.
  • Ensure the reader supports SDXC and UHS-I specifications for full compatibility and performance.
  • For best results, especially if you frequently transfer large files or work with high-speed data, using a dedicated external USB card reader is recommended.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
