HP Reverb G2 Left Controler
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was playing with my HP Reverb G2 and it worked just fine when I went to take a break and set my controllers on a chair The chair seat was approx  1ft 4 in, so not that high . When I came back I noticed it was on the floor because somehow it got knocked down(I don't have pets). Everything looked fine, however the left controller would think the trigger is being constantly depressed even though the trigger is not depressed and is in the un-depressed position.  This is different from the whole trigger stuck in a depressed position. This is not a software/game issue because it is stuck even on startup. No matter what I do the "trigger" cannot be let up. Everything else on the controller worked fine. This leads to a situation where any game I play thinks I'm constantly holding down the trigger even though im not, so I can't to do a (in gun terms a "trigger reset")  stopping me from shooting vr guns and other things that require the trigger to be held temporarily like pressing buttons. (I'm left handed so the left controller being busted is a bigger deal than what it may seem. )

@DaveThrill23

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I can see how that would be difficult. It seems like hardware related issue with the HP Reverb G2 VR Headset, as we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

You can refer to article: HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset - Common Issues if it's a software driver related  issue. By the end of the article, you will be able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
