So I have had this Mic for around 8 months and ever since a month ago my microphone has these static problems that I will call "Hurricanes" whenever I play with friends a lot of static comes from the mic and is unbearable to them. For me to stop this static I need to either tap my mic or just mute myself. I was wondering if this is just faulty or something that can be dealt with?

I reviewed your post and I understand that there is static noise from the microphone when you play games.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Does this happen on all the games?
Have you checked the settings in the game and on the computer?
Meanwhile, follow the below steps and check if it helps.
1. Run Audio Troubleshooter
- Launch Troubleshooting by typing and clicking “Troubleshooting” in
Windows search.
- Click on "Playing Audio".
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Disable enhancements
- Right Click on the Volume icon on the taskbar, select "Recording“, Double
click on Microphone.
- Open the Enhancements / Effects Tab.
- Check "Disable All Sound / System Effects“. Click Apply, OK, test the Microphone again.
3. Change format of the Microphone
- Right click on the Volume Icon on the taskbar, select "Recording Devices".
- Double click on Microphone.
- Go to the Advanced Tab, choose any of the 16 bit options on the list.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello so to answer the question on does this happens on all games. Yes, it does happen on all games, it happens on all devices I can use it on as well. I have tried turning off enhancements and used the troubleshoot option. I will try the reformatting so maybe that will work. Might not due to the fact it happens on all available devices for the headset
