Hi @ASSChhora,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your mouse clicks are not working properly on your HP All-in-One Desktop PC 27-cb1000i, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check the Mouse Hardware  HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures

  • Try a Different Mouse: Connect a different mouse to your PC to see if the problem persists. This helps determine if the issue is with the mouse itself or the PC.
  • Clean the Mouse: Ensure that the mouse buttons and surface are clean and free of debris.

2. Update or Reinstall Mouse Drivers

  • Update Drivers:
    1. Go to Device Manager (right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager).
    2. Expand the Mice and other pointing devices section.
    3. Right-click on your mouse and select Update driver.
    4. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
  • Reinstall Drivers:
    1. In Device Manager, right-click on your mouse and select Uninstall device.
    2. Restart your PC. Windows will reinstall the mouse driver upon reboot.

3. Check for Software Conflicts

  • Boot in Safe Mode: Restart your PC in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If it doesn't, a third-party application may be causing the problem.
  • Disable Third-Party Software: Temporarily disable any software that may interact with mouse functions, such as custom mouse software or utilities.

4. Adjust Mouse Settings

  • Mouse Settings:
    1. Go to Settings > Devices > Mouse.
    2. Check and adjust the settings to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Change Click Speed:
    1. Open the Control Panel.
    2. Go to Hardware and Sound > Mouse.
    3. Adjust the double-click speed slider.

5. Check for System Updates

  • Windows Updates: Ensure that your system is up-to-date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and checking for updates.

6. Perform a System Scan

  • Run a System File Check:
    1. Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
    2. Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. This will scan and repair any corrupted system files.

I hope this helps.
