Hi @Vivek192,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your wireless mouse!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Could you share more details about the issue? Is the mouse completely unresponsive, or is it disconnecting intermittently? Also, have you tried replacing the batteries or using a different USB port? Let me know so I can assist you better! 😊
Meanwhile, you can try these steps.
Mouse with a Wireless USB Receiver
Remove any packaging tabs: Look for and remove any packaging tabs from the mouse as they might prevent it from receiving power.
Turn on the mouse: If your mouse has an On/Off switch, make sure it is set to On.
Recharge the battery or replace batteries: If the mouse does not turn on, recharge the battery or replace the batteries if they are replaceable.
Locate and insert the USB receiver: Ensure that the USB receiver is inserted into a USB port on the computer. If using a USB hub, it might not provide enough power for your device to connect properly.
Remove interference: Turn off any other wireless devices that you are not using, including Bluetooth devices, and move the mouse closer to the wireless receiver, usually within 30 cm (1 ft).
Reset the USB receiver connection: Remove the receiver from the port, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect it to another port on the computer. You might consider reconnecting it to a port on the opposite side of the computer.
Mouse with Bluetooth Connection
Remove any packaging tabs: Look for and remove any packaging tabs from the mouse as they might prevent it from receiving power.
Turn on the mouse: Ensure the mouse is set to On if it has an On/Off switch.
Recharge the battery or replace batteries: If the mouse does not turn on, recharge the battery or replace the batteries if they are replaceable.
Enable Bluetooth: In Windows, search for and open Bluetooth and other devices settings and make sure Bluetooth is set to On.
Pair the mouse: If the mouse is not listed, place it in pairing mode according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer, and then click 'Add Bluetooth or other device' to pair it.

Test the Mouse in HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI
- Turn off the computer by holding the power button for at least five seconds.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu is displayed, press the F2 key.
- On the Main Menu, click Component Tests.
- Select Mouse/Touchpad, choose the test to run, and then click Run once. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the test.
I hope this helps.
