Hi @dS1999,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP GK320 keyboard might have an issue with its LED backlighting system. Here's what you can do.

Check the LED Brightness Settings:

  • Ensure the brightness level isn't set too low or turned off for the affected keys. Many gaming keyboards have brightness control using specific function keys (e.g., Fn + a key).

Reset the Keyboard:

  • Some keyboards allow a factory reset. Check the user manual or the product page for a specific key combination (e.g., Fn + Esc) to reset the keyboard.

Test on Another Device:

  • Plug the keyboard into a different computer to rule out software or compatibility issues.

Check for Software Issues:

  • If the keyboard has dedicated software, open it to see if the lighting profile is configured incorrectly. Try resetting or reconfiguring the lighting.

Inspect for Physical Damage:

  • Check if any debris or damage is visible around the affected keys. Sometimes dust or dirt can interfere with the LEDs.

Update Drivers/Firmware:

  • If your keyboard uses software, ensure it’s updated to the latest version. Also, check if the HP offers a firmware update for the keyboard.

Reconnect the Keyboard:

  • Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard to the computer. If it's wireless, ensure the battery is charged or replace it if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
