@Bhushan01, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
1. Check Battery
- Ensure that the battery in the wireless mouse is properly installed and has enough charge.
- Replace the battery with a new one if necessary.
2. Check Connection
- Make sure that the wireless receiver is connected to a functional USB port on the laptop.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the wireless receiver.
- If your mouse uses Bluetooth, ensure that Bluetooth is turned on in the laptop.
3. Re-pair the Mouse
- If the wireless mouse uses Bluetooth, re-pair it with the laptop:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- Remove the existing pairing and then add the device again.
4. Check Device Manager
- Ensure the mouse is recognized by the laptop:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Mice and other pointing devices section.
- Look for any yellow exclamation marks or red crosses.
- If present, right-click the mouse device and select Update driver or Uninstall. Restart the computer to reinstall the driver automatically.
