My reverb g2 v2 screen randomly flickers while playing games. Issue doesnt appear to happen on the WMR homescreen. For example, I was just playing Half Life Alyx and noticed flickering. I kept still and noticed that the screen flickers after a few seconds. I made sure that the connections are all proper and switched the usb3 port connection, issue persists.
Any idea if it is software or hardware issue? Thanks

@SolidMonki, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the screen flickers at times. Let us try these steps:
- Make sure that the headset is worn correctly so that the wearer's eyes are centered with regards to the lenses.
- Try to adjust the IPD (interpupillary distance). Note that Reverb G2 uses a hardware IPD. To change it, look for IPD adjustment on the bottom of the headset.
- Continue to wear any prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses.
- Check and clean the headset lenses as necessary (micro fiber cloth only no fluids).
- Due to the advanced design of the headset there may be some minor image ghosting in the first few minutes when starting the device while cold until the headset lenses have the opportunity to warm up.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Hi Kumar,
thank you for the response. Unfortunately none of the suggested steps help in my case. The entire screen flickers (turns black for a micro second). I still tried your suggestions and also replugged all cables including the connector to the headset, but the issue still happens in Games i play i.e. SkyrimVR and Half Life Alyx (more frequently in Alyx). 😞
