Hi - My G2 has been performing perfectly fine since I got it - very rarely, but occasionally, I'd lose picture, but the audio and tracking would still work - it would usually rectify the issue automatically and visuals in the headset would come back within a few seconds.
I've gone to use it again tonight to find I'm getting no picture in it at all - audio and tracking still work fine.
After a few google searches, I found that the cable into the headset needs to be seated in much deeper than the included instructions imply (on the quick start guide there's literally just a picture of the cable with an arrow pointing into the port, but no indication of what it'll look like seated properly), so I managed to get it seated properly (so that the dot on top of the cable lines up with the outside of the housing - it was pretty tricky to do and seems to require a very precise angle/direction and a little bit of force to get it to seat correctly.
Still no picture though.
Any ideas? Looks like I'll be missing however many League races until I can get it working again...

Exaclty same problem.
I stated to have the 1-4 cable, but yesterday in the middle of a flight, suddently the lenses blackout. Still tracking, still sound.
Didn't have any problem for some months.
There are lots of problems with the cable it seems.. or just the connection... The problem is that long RMA process and they even don't know what could be the problem. Still didn't find any good answer for this kind of problem.
