HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0013dx

I’ve had this laptop for a long time. I’ve always used the AMD Radeon Vega 8 (gpu) and the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H. I assumed that the Nvidia 1050 in here was also running. However, when gaming, I realized my laptop never really exceeded 62°C. My laptop should be pushing 70° for those extra frames, but it does not. This leads me to believe that my laptop is using my cpu for gaming rather than my nvidia card. I have set my nvidia for performance over quality and this hasn’t changed anything. Please help.

It does NOT have Nvidia 1050 GPU.

Regards.

The easy fix is go here and update your driver https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
