It has a broken screen and I was wondering where and how much it would cost to fix and if its even worth fixing it fell onto a microphone on the tableIMG_3441.jpg

@User-217523,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, for an OMEN by HP 27-inch monitor with a broken screen, repairing it is generally not worth the cost and hassle, as the panel is the most expensive component, often costing nearly as much as a new monitor, making replacement the more practical and cost-effective choice, especially with newer models offering better value and features.

Whilst DIY panel replacement is possible if you find the exact part (like M270DTN01.3 for some models), it's difficult and often not economical, so buying a new monitor is usually recommended.

Kind Regards,

@User-217523,

Yes, I would recommend disposing of it responsibly.  Meaning, drop it off at an electronics store or other electronics waste center for proper disposal.
