Product: monitor w1907v (old)

I have tried to connect an old HP monitor to my sons Nintendo switch but I cannot get the correct resolution to get the whole picture on the display. I can get most of the picture on the display but it also has sync out of range. I have tried to work my way through the menu but cannot but so far I haven't found a solution. I have tried to reset it but nothing seems to happen. I should point out that I am trying to dot this by connecting hdmi  on the console via aconverter to vga. Any help would be welcome.

  • Have you tried connecting the Nintendo to different monitor or TV?

This sounds like a compatibility issue.
