Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with the computer. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Not every graphics card supports all the options available with G-Sync.
Please check the compatibility requirements for G-Sync with the graphics card.
Keep me posted. 🙂

Hi
I have a desktop computer with a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080TI which is fully compatible with G-Sync monitor, it use the display port connection.
As second computer I have a Macbook Pro Retina, this cannot use the G-Sync feature but works well with the monitor, it use the HDMI connection.
Now for instance if I was using the Macbook Pro with HDMI, and I turn off this computer, then turn on the desktop computer, the monitor remain to HDMI connection and not switch to display port automaitcally, I have to go inside the OSD menu and set manually the input to display port. The monitor should for this case switch automatically to the display port without any manual action...
I also have another problem, maybe link with the first problem, if my computer go to sleep after inactivity, the monitor do not turn on automatically, I have to completly turn off the monitor with the phisical button and turn on again to get it work.
It's like there is no detection when a computer use any input

Thanks for the response.
When you change the device, you will have to manually change the input from the OSD in the display.
Regarding the sleep issues, please check the power options settings with the desktop.
