Omen Accelerator
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, hopefully you can help me with the problem I'm having.

I have a 2017 HP Spectre x360 15" laptop that has been hooked up to an Omen Accelerator EGPU for years. I had to reinstall windows (corrupt drivers due to installing Paragon HFS+) and ever since then everything works but the ethernet port on the EGPU. It isn't detected at all and there are no unknown or flagged items in Device Manager.

I have tried reinstalling windows again and then following HPs instructions on how to install the EGPU (the order of install of software, drivers and connecting the device).

I notice that others have had odd issues where the EGPU's ethernet had been detected as a CDROM drive, this doesn't appear to be the case here.

It is simply acting as though it doesn't exist.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Please check with an alternate ethernet cable or the cable with another computer to check if that works.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
