OMEN X by HP Laptop 17-ap0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I have been using the Omen 600 Mouse for about 7 months now and I've only just realized that holding left click and right click reset the DPI back to the lowest number, which in a video game is the most annoying thing ever. Anyway, I looked this issue up and found that HP has uploaded a firmware update on the mouse which stops this from happening.

So I downloaded it and went through the agreement, then the wizard closes and it opens another program to install the driver. The main issue is that the program does not show up on my screen, it is there in the task bar and when i hover over it the preview is a white screen. I've tried every method to open it (checking if it is off the screen etc.) and still nothing works...

Any help is appreciated!

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Click on this Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp91501-92000/sp91913.exe and try the Firmware download again. Ensure you disable your Firewall and Antivirus first

Thank you
