Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought the Omen Outpost and cannot get the perimeter RGB lighting to illuminate. I have tried both the dual-USB adapter and the single USB-C and neither work. I can change the Omen logo up top easy enough using the Omen Command center but nothing I do works for the surrounding lights. What do I do?

Hi, according OMEN Outpost mousepad specification,

* For full functionality, connect to a 15W USB type-c port

** Connect both cables to USB SuperSpeed ports. if you are using the adapter, the log is the only activity light supported.

I see you tried USB-c port, please check if your type-C port supports PD feature (15W). If yes, it would be workable.

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply.

My built in USB-C port is only 3.0 Gen 1 so my max output is 4.5W. This devices needs 15W (for some reason).

For those thinking of buying, make sure you have a USB-C 3.0 Gen 2 or later to use this accessory to its max potential.

For prospective buyers, I hope this post is a warning. I am very unsatisfied that this was not noted anywhere when buying and for $99.99 it should not be that hard to light up the perimeter of a mouse pad. I'm also at a loss that the adapter does not help towards full functionality.
