I have been having a problem with my gaming mouse caused by holding down the left and right buttons at the same time, after a few seconds the scroll wheel flashes and input from the mouses stops. This is very annoying and has caused me to lose lots of fights due to me stop shooting during a fight. I got this mouse recently (christmas) and it has been doing the same thing since.

Answer:
For the OMEN 600 gaming mouse...
Holding the right and left mouse buttons for 3 seconds resets the mouse back to default settings for both DPI and LOD.
There is no way to change that, its physically designed this way. There is no bios reset or any other work around to fix it.
Whoever typed up the manual for HP neglected to mention this in the instructions.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
I see that your experiencing issues with HP omen gaming mouse,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Have you tried with an alternate/different mouse?
If you've not checked with an alternate mouse yet, I recommend you do, to confirm if this is either a hardware or a software issue,
That said, if the alternate mouse doesn't work either, you may want to reinstall the USB root hubs within the device manager and check if it works, And if the alternate mouse works and yet the HP 600 doesn't, I suggest you install the latest drivers for your device: Click here to download and install it
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

It sounds like touchpad/mouse drivers are corrupted, You can try reinstalling windows operating system and check for the original drivers.
Here is the link: Click here if you're unable to perform a system recovery. I recommend you obtain the HP Recovery Media to delete all the content of the driver, re-create the partition and install a fresh copy of the OEM windows to resolve this issue: Click here to obtain the recovery media
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
