Reverb G2 + AMD MoBo/GraCard = BSOD

To those who say this is not HP's fault, but AMDs...

That may be so on the driver front. However, HP states that it works in their specification, and that is on them.

@Virtuanaut. I tried all drivers ranging from the a couple of months before the release of the of the HP Reverb G2 through the latest. No difference for me. If you find one that works please let us know. I wish HP would not have advertised that it works with AMD hardware if it doesn't.

Edit: I just tried with old 19.11.1 and 19.11.3 drivers along with old chipset drivers. No change. I can't see any way HP ever tested with this hardware, and guessing it should not have been put in their specifications...at least until AMD supported their hardware.

Try USB Hubs USB Cards Bios Settings and i think all the rest here...

Installed the 3080; G2 works instantly. I'm returning that 6900XT

@Marco176. You are were able to get both a 3080 and a 6900XT. I am jealous. I have been searching for any of the new cards since release (minus the 3060TI), and no luck. And I refuse to give these ebay scalpers my money.

@Tshrimp, do not tell my wife please. I'm not proud about what prices have been paid. But I had no working GPU (2080Ti died) and I got what I could get.

Hi,

I have News from a Guy in Reddit.

He had also the BSOD when connect to PC with Memory Managment. The Headset work on Nvidia 1080

He become an Replacement and the new Headset is working on bot Graphiccards.

SO it seems to be a Foult from HP Side. I also try now to Become an Replacment.

@Fastsonic ... What CPU/MB/Graphics card did this guy have? I am having the same issue with the below specs. However, I don't have the ability to try another graphics card to see if that fixes it. My son's old graphics (980 TI) card will allow things to be setup (No BSOD memory_management, and no reboot), but doesn't work as it is an unsupported card. I did reach out to HP to see if they would replace. Now the test of HP customer service.

Mem: 32GB Corsair

GPU: Powercolor 5700 XT
