Product: HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi there,
I have had a Reverb G2 for not very long, it arrived and had an issue with the lens and the left speaker was faulty. I sent in a warranty request to HP and they sent someone out who changed the speaker and lenses.
- The left speaker is still faulty in the same way, you have to have it in a perfect sweet spot for the connection to work and sound to come through it. I also swapped the cable that connects to the display port and power, I can't understand why it is still there. I've seen a few posts where people have the same issue with the left speaker?
- The lenses don't have the same issue the first did, however the display now has a red pixel (or a few), just off centre of the display. It's right in the middle so quite annoying. Is this a dead pixel?
My headset is still under warranty, I have barely used it since buying due to the quality issues and want one that is working correctly and displays properly from the start, they are a more expensive VR headset. I haven't heard back from HP from my last few efforts to contact so I'm wondering if the community has any further knowledge?
Thanks.
