I bought a reverb g2 direct from you (UK) last month.

I have a problem that the sound device keeps disappearing and reappearing, switch constantly with my desktop PC’s sound card from the built in motherboard.

This is what I’ve tried so far:

Disabled onboard sound card in BIOS (Realtek device on MSI B550 Tomahawk)

Disabled sound adapter on GeForce 4070ti in device manager.

checked for upgraded drivers for all sound devices.

Changed USB C for USB 3.2

Changed to USB 3.2 on front of the case.

‘Changed to powered USB hub

None of this has worked. And still the device loses the Realtek USB device from the headset. It starts with a speaker icon in 1the headset and the sound will disappear, followed by a second or so later the speaker icon will reappear before sound appears from my PC speakers. After a second or two it’ll switch back.  Each time this happens the game I’m playing will stutter.

This also happens in all VR games I play.

my set up:

Ryzen 5 3600

32Gb memory

Nvidia Geforce 4070ti

MSI B550 tomahawk motherboard.

Windows 11 and experienced on all games, but primarily Elite Dangerous,  DCS, MSFS.
