HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

Hello,
I have a very annoying problem with my Reverb G2 since last friday.
When I was playing War Thunder after approx.15 minutes the right lense goes black, 2 seconds later the left lense goes black too, after 6 seconds they both come on again only to go through the same cycle a few moments later and so on and on. Playing becomes impossible this way. I never had any issues with my G2 before.
It keeps on happening when I end the game and stay in WMR.

Please help.

Thx for your response.
I sent the G2 back to the retailer right before your message.
It got fixed after a few weeks and I got it back.

I have the same issue. Unfortunately from what I understand it is a hardware issue. But HP refuses to help me. Maybe you will have better luck. Personally, I would strongly suggest buying a headset from a different company.  Any replacement from HP is guaranteed to fail as well. This is the 3rd headset I am on. So the HP Reverb is basically a temporary VR headset that is definitely going to stop working.
