HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

I've attempted to chat with tech support twice in the past 48 hours and have received no response. Then I got on the line with a person and their ticket system was down (not their fault). The power light on the power pack is on...however the HP logo light on the headset is off.

When the USB C connector is plugged into my Mother Board the device manager shows a "Unknown USB Device Port Reset Failed" error. I attempted to use the USB C adapter (blue color) and the same error appears. This happened all of a sudden 2 days ago after months of use.

My hp reverb g2 stop working a few days ago … pc reporting … unknown usb device So I moved the unit to another USB port several times but all is unreliable.  Tried updating GPU drivers but same results.  Maybe a cable failure after one year of use is sad?
