S1000 plus wireless mouse

I just got this S1000 wireless mouse a few days agp. It comes with a usb receiver. I tried plugging in the usb and the mouse didn't work. There is usually a sound coming up when I plug in an usb, but it not coming up in this mouse. I tried on different spot on the computer and even different computers. But it still doesn't work. I already put a battery and turned the mouse on. I am pretty sure the problem is not on the mouse itself because when I turned on the mouse, the red light in the bottom is shown. Had anyone has experienced with this mouse and can help me out? Thank you!

You need to insert battery and turn it on first. Did you do that ?  Please watch the following clip
