Hi i have an hp pavillion gaming laptop it is the one above base (ryzen 5 3500, Nvidia GeForce 1050, 8gb ram) My problem is that I am out of storage as it is only 256gb and was wondering if it is possible to *INTERNALLY* upgrade this as it would make this computer much better and wanted SSD as that is what comes in it. Basically i want to know 1 is this possible 2 is it easy 3 will i lose all of the data i had or is there a way to back it up? Anyways thank you for your responses.

We need to know EXACTLY what is your Pavilion ? Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
Regards.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c06463297
Manual for the series
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06446633.pdf
Your machine supports dual storage, you can add 2.5" HDD/SSD to your machine but you need Hard drive connector/cable part # L72698-001 as mentioned on page 33 of the manual. Part is N/A from HP. I can't find from other stores. Please try
