I recently bought an hp reverb G2, however i had noticed what looked like a smudge on day 1, out the box. I left it there as I didn't have my cleaning cloth with me, later I decided to closely inspect the lens and it appears to be a scratch on the lens, very rough-looking. This was there day 1 and I took care not to scratch the lenses myself, even stored the headset in the box it came with while not in use. I had been trying to contact support about it but when I try to fill in my serial code, the page returns the "could not be verified" error, tried different browsers, devices and times but nothing. Now I'm not even sure how to get help?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.  

 

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
