Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a new MSI Crosshair 16 HX Laptop which has an excellent  mobile Nvidia RTX4060 graphics processor and a DisplayPort compatible USB C  port (....also a HDMI which I know is not compatible).

 

There are adapters that can go from USB C DP to DP that would physically connect the Laptop to the G2 but has anyone done this or know if it would work?

To answer my own question. Yes it does work. I got a Ugreen UBB C/DP to DP adapter from Amazon along with some USB C to USB 3 adapters for the  power lead and it works great.
