Omen Accelerator
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I am just wondering if it is possible to run one of the more power demanding graphics cards in the Omen accelerator. The formal PSU requirement on nvidia website is 600W+, but the OMEN is only 500w.

I was however wondering if it is still possible with the 500W psu - given that the OMEN psu is primarily used for the graphics card and not an entire system - it should be able to provide 300W, and there more demanding cards "only" needs max. 270 W.

Any help would be appreciated.

Br, Emil

At this time, the Omen Accelerator supports

NVIDIA® GeForce® graphics chipsets:

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080;

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060;

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX Titan X; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 980 Ti;

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 980; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 970;

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950;

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750 Ti; NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750

And the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti requires only 250W

         https://www.nvidia.com/en-sg/geforce/products/10series/geforce-gtx-1080-ti/

and the RTX requires 225W

600W is for a full desktop system which has many things on it.

Regards.
