I have been searching all over the web to see if anyone has a fix for windows mixed reality headset error 7-13 but have yet to find a solution
2 months ago my Hp reverb g2 started not working. I would at random get error 7-13, but then it would go away. Eventually it became a permanent error that I can’t get rid of.
I have intel 9900K, Nvidia 3090, 64gb ram, 390Z mother board.
As described by multiple websites, I
1- uninstalled and reinstalled my USB in disk manager
2- uninstall and reinstall my headset in disk manager
3- updated windows and graphic driver
4- updated motherboard bios
5- installed a PCIE USB 3.1 - gave the same error
6- installed a PCIE USB 3.2 - gave the same error
7- asked for HP for replacement wire for HP reverb G2 - still got the same error
8- formatted windows and went through all installations- still didn’t work
If I have to return the headset, I guess I can because I still have warranty, but anyone has any idea what how to fix this problem? Is this a hardware problem?
