Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've been using the Reverb G2 successfully for a few years in X-Plane 11 and recently in X-Plane 12 using Windows  Mixed Reality on Windows 10. This problem of a momentarily "floating" image before becoming stable has just recently appeared without anything else changing: cables seem okay and haven't moved, headset cameras appear to be operating normally, frame rate is as always, simulator is in the same environment. No changes, just this. Outside scenery is stable and does not float as does changing interior views. Guidance will be appreciated.

Thank you for your extensive reply! Between the time I posted and you replied I was able to see a warning upon computer shutdown that remained long enough to read, and which in the past appeared too briefly to read. It delayed shutdown. It was a warning involving Corsair iCUE and something about computer memory.

I read online about iCUE and didn't understand most of what I read, but did come away with the notion that, as some others reported, iCUE was affecting frame rate in VR. I opened the iCUE control panel and didn't really know what I was seeing other than I had the opportunity to update it, so I did. My frame rate improved and the problem I described resolved completely.

I'll visit the computer store and repair shop from which I purchased the computer and ask more about iCUE, it's affect on VR, and if it is a problem child, what might be a replacement. Though sometimes the devil known is better than. . . .

I'm not a computer person, though have learned much with the DOF Reality motion platform I use along with the hardware and software I have to support XP 11 and 12 over the past few years.

Thank you for the time and direction you have provided. I will retain it and use it again if I have any further issues that might pertain.

Denis
