hey my power supply on my omen obelisk is 300W I need to change it. What psu should I get

It will use an ATX power supply.
You can use what ever brand you wish as long as it has the connectors needed for the graphics card.
You can install a higher wattage PSU other than 450w.
Usually the 500w or more PSU's will be about the same price range. If so, I would do that instead.
Personally I would go with a good name brand like Corsair, EVGA or SeaSonic. They have good warranties.
IF I go with a Corsair for example, I like the RMx or higher end units that are modular and have top tier components in them. Modular will give you better cable management.
But they are also more money than the cheaper CX versions (and the like).
Its just up to you what you want to spend.
On a side note: What ever PSU you go with, the original HP PSU will not have been top tier quality as say a Corsair RMx or EVGA for example.

Depends on why you need to replace it?
Are you upgrading the graphics card? If so, which card?
