Hello @Hoppy59
What exactly is the problem so I can better understand how to help?
Also, what is the full product number of your computer? If you run the HP Support Assistant, it will give you this info.
Origin has its own website that you can grab the software from...
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download

Product # 7FQ26AV I purchased the Sims 4 game. Instructions are to go to Origin website and download Origin. I did, and it starts to download, says it will take over an hour, blah, blah. And it will go to 0-4% and overnight it never downloaded. I don’t get an icon for it, and when I go to the download manager it shows as a “partial download”. I have done this several times, took my computer off of “sleep” so it continues to run, nothing. I looked up online and many posts that Windows 10 does not support it, but not sure if that is accurate.
Thanks!

OK so you click the download link for (Windows 7 and above) on the page I posted, but that does not download?
https://www.dm.origin.com/download
Do you have issues with downloading any other content also?
What browser are you using?
Can you clear the browser cache and try again?
Can you try a different browser?

I am trying to download Microsoft Edge browser, and it also seems to be stuck. Started 20 minutes ago and it is stuck on 2% and the minutes and seconds have not changed. My computer is new, Why is this happening?

You are using MS Edge to download Origin with or you are trying to download Edge?
Your statement is confusing because Edge already comes with Windows 10. No need to download it.
Try Internet Explorer 11, its already installed on Windows 10 also.
Go to Start > Windows Accessories and click on Internet Explorer.
Clear the cache files... https://neosmart.net/wiki/clear-internet-explorer-cache/
Then go to this website and run Speedtest to see what your internet speed is at.
