Hi @Nubinn

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

That sounds incredibly disruptive—especially when you're in the middle of a game and your keyboard starts acting like it's got a mind of its own. Let's walk through some recommended steps to help isolate and fix the issue:

🧪 Step 1: Test on Another Device

  • Plug the GK100 into a different computer or laptop.
  • If the same key misfires happen (like W triggering P), it’s likely a hardware or firmware issue with the keyboard itself.

🔄 Step 2: Reset the Keyboard

Some GK100 models support a basic hardware reset:

  1. Unplug the keyboard.
  2. Hold down the ESC key.
  3. While holding ESC, plug the keyboard back in.
  4. Keep holding ESC for 5–10 seconds, then release.

This can clear any stuck macros or remapping glitches.

🧼 Step 3: Check for Physical Issues

  • Gently remove the keycaps for W and P (if you're comfortable doing so).
  • Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean around the switches.
  • Make sure no debris or sticky residue is causing cross-activation.

📥 Step 4: Reinstall Keyboard Drivers

  1. Right-click the Start button > Device Manager.
  2. Expand Keyboards, right-click the GK100, and choose Uninstall device.
  3. Restart your PC—Windows will reinstall the driver automatically.

⚙️ Step 5: Check for Accessibility Settings

  • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard.
  • Make sure Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, and Toggle Keys are all turned off.

Let me know how far you get—I’ll stick with you until we get this sorted!
