Hi @Mayanshu,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the LED lights on your HP Gaming Mouse M260 are not working, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

Check Software Settings:

  • If your mouse uses software (such as HP Omen Command Center or a third-party utility), ensure that LED lighting is enabled in the software settings.
  • Sometimes, specific lighting modes may turn off the LED or adjust brightness, so check for any such configurations.

Try a Different USB Port:

  • Unplug the mouse and connect it to a different USB port. A malfunctioning USB port could cause power issues that might affect the LED lights.

Check for Firmware or Driver Updates:

  • Visit HP's website to see if there are any available firmware or driver updates for the mouse.
  • Updating the drivers may resolve compatibility or power management issues affecting the LED lights.

Restart Your Computer:

  • A simple restart can refresh the connection between the mouse and your computer, potentially resolving any temporary software conflicts affecting the LED lights.

Test the Mouse on Another Computer:

  • Connect the mouse to another computer to see if the LED lights work. If they don't, it could indicate a hardware issue with the mouse itself.

Inspect the Cable and Connections:

  • Make sure the cable is not damaged, as a faulty connection can prevent power from reaching the LEDs.

If none of these steps work and the LED lights remain non-functional, it may indicate a hardware issue with the mouse.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
