Hello, I bought wirelless keyboard HP720 multi-device. I have it connected via bluethoot (i tried dongle too) and I have a problem. When I press shift+insert make mute and unmute my USB-C jabra headphones. When I used a different keyboard the behaviour is normal. I unpair and pair the keyaboard again and reset the settings. Do you anybody know what can be the problem?
thanks

@ky720, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like you're experiencing a conflict between your HP720 wireless keyboard and your Jabra USB-C headphones, where the Shift + Insert key combination is triggering the mute/unmute function on your headphones, rather than performing its usual function.
Here are a few things you can try to resolve this issue:
Check Keyboard Settings in Windows:
Sometimes, specific key combinations can be mapped to certain actions in Windows or through specific software.
Go to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard and see if there’s any setting related to "sticky keys" or "filter keys" that could be causing unintended behavior.
Update Bluetooth and Jabra Headset Drivers:
Ensure that both your Bluetooth drivers and Jabra headset drivers are fully up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause conflicts with other devices.
Test with Another Device (to isolate the issue):
Test the keyboard and headphones with another device to see if the problem persists. This could help determine whether the issue is specific to your current setup or if it’s an issue with the keyboard itself.
Check for Software Conflicts:
Some software applications might be causing the issue. Try closing any background applications that could be controlling keyboard functions, such as Jabra apps, Bluetooth management software, or media control tools.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hey @ky720,
Thank you for your response
It sounds like the issue might be more specific to the HP720 keyboard itself, especially since both you and your colleague are experiencing the same problem. The fact that it works fine with other keyboards connected via 2.4GHz suggests there may be some interference or unique behavior when the HP720 is connected via Bluetooth.
Here are a few more steps to try and isolate the cause:
Bluetooth Interference:
Bluetooth devices can sometimes experience interference, especially when multiple devices are connected at the same time or when certain frequencies overlap. Try turning off other Bluetooth devices in your vicinity to see if it makes a difference.
You can also try changing the Bluetooth channel or using a different Bluetooth adapter (if you’re using a dongle). Some Bluetooth adapters handle device pairing better than others.
Bluetooth Profile Conflicts:
The Jabra headset may be interacting with the keyboard's Bluetooth profile in a way that causes the Shift + Insert command to trigger the mute/unmute function. This could be a profile issue or conflict.
You can try unpairing both devices (keyboard and headset) and then re-pairing them one at a time, checking the behavior each time.
I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
