@7CH4360ZK3, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding mouse issue!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I see you're having trouble connecting your HP S1000 Wireless Mouse to your laptop—let’s get it working! Here’s what to do:
Check the Basics
- Make sure your mouse has fresh batteries. If it's rechargeable, ensure it's charged.
- If it has a USB dongle, plug it into a working USB port. Try a different port if needed.
Pair the Mouse (If It’s Bluetooth)
- Turn on the mouse and put it in pairing mode (usually by holding the Bluetooth button).
- On your laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and turn Bluetooth on.
- Click Add Bluetooth or other device, select Bluetooth, and choose "HP S1000" when it appears.
Update Drivers (If Needed)
- Open Device Manager (Press Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click your mouse, select Update driver, then Search automatically for drivers.
Still Not Working?
Try restarting both the laptop and mouse, or test the mouse on another device to check if it’s working. If the issue persists, let me know—I’d be happy to help further!
Hope this helps! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
