Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

product number: Z4D33AA

I turned off my computer and the display started going through a color sequence. when I clicked on the menu button it said that the monitor was in factory mode. I have to change the monitor settings every time I start my computer now and it does not overclock to 165hz anymore.

@jbevs I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you try the monitor on a different computer?
  • Did you update the graphics drivers of your computer and check again?
  • Are you referring to auto-detect mode when the monitor is turned on? Could you elaborate?

As for the refresh rates, try these steps:

Scan range

  • Horizontal:
  • 34k-222kHz (DP) Overclock off
  • 34k-240kHz (DP) Overclock on
  • 30k-140kHz (HDMI)

Vertical:

  • 30-144Hz (DP) Overclock off
  • 30-165Hz (DP) Overclock on
  • 24-60Hz (HDMI)
  • It states that the feature is supported with overclock on.
  • try the monitor on a different computer with a better High-end graphics card if that is possible.
  • If the issue continues, then update the graphics drivers on the computer and check again.
  • This should fix the issue for you. If it does not then it is a limitation of the graphics card.
  • Hope this answers your question.

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient,
