HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

I haven't used mine for about a year, I bought myself new music add-ons for Beat Saber and Synt Riders and I turn on the headset and here's a surprise. What a fool I was when I decided to trust the company HP again, after constant problems with my first and then second laptop, and I decided to buy the G2 because of the largest display resolution, I would have been better off taking the Valve Index as I had planned from the very beginning. "If you do nothing, you are dead to me". Now I have to do a dual boot on Linux to at least somehow use this brick, and there are still problems with the controllers. Contact Valve and help them make a patch to make this brick work, or release a program for Windows, I don't mind even paying a small amount for it

@raymond515 - "The HP Community is where owners of HP products, like you, volunteer to help each other find solutions. " Reverb G2 issues after a year of inactivity are frustrating, likely due to driver/software obsolescence. Troubleshoot by checking HP support and community forums, ensuring updated Windows and drivers, exploring Linux with OpenXR, and contacting HP support. Consider that all VR headsets can have compatibility issues, and keep an eye out for community-driven solutions. I'm not a volunteer, I'm just trying to make this brick work. AND - Are you write to mark that you wrote and the problem is solved, or are you not aware of Windows Mixed Reality, which no longer works on the new Windows update... This does not solve the problem, the helmet is working, but in order for it to work, you need to install Windows 10. And there's nothing frustrating here, the company just took its money for the product and washed its hands of it.

anyway, I dug up my Windows 10 disk and an external SD-ROM, spent 5 hours getting it all to work, and now it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm playing Synth Riders. I have a request to HP, don't bury G2, make a patch for Steam, it's a great helmet, maybe you messed up with the joysticks, but the helmet is cool and I would like to use it more, it still gives a kick to new helmets

I will never buy anything from HP again, this was a scam, and I think it can even be denounced,
I hope they give financial compensation to those who have this headset, because if not they will look very bad, both them and all the brands that have sold mixed reality, but more them, since these products have been on the market for a short time.
