my computer the HP ENVY Desktop TE01-0014 has an integrated graphics card and can it also have a external graphics card with it

Its specs

which shows it has  Intel UHD Graphics 630 and

 

  • One PCIe x16 socket (for discrete graphic card)
  • One PCIe x1 socket
  • One M.2 socket 1, key A
  • One M.2 socket 3, key M

You can add video card on your machine and Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed. 

 

Note: It only has 180W PSU therefore you may also need to upgrade the PSU too. The following table tells you what is PSU you need
