How do I:
1. Turn off the Backlight of this PC? In the HP Envy, all I do is hit the backlight key (sixth key from the "esc" key) but on Omen it doesn't work?
2. How do I change the default red light to another color?
Thanks

To turn on/off the backlight by holding down the FN key and pressing F5.
To change the colors you need to use the HP Omen Control. Document on how to use below.

Just a bit more tip on the topic,
Fn+F5 key will only enable/disable LED for keyboard area. The speaker lights (left + right) aren't control by this key combination. A trick to turn off the speaker lights is to use HP OMEN Control and set speakers light color as "black".
Note: By default, all top-row(F1-F12) function keys (volume up/down, brightness..etc) requires holding Fn key + Fx key. You can actually skip the Fn key by changing this default behavior from HP OMEN Control - Advance tab. Cheers!
