So it appeared and disappeared without changing anything? Strange... I always left it powered on for the last 2 Months, but mine still flickers even after powering it off. Does your G2 also get relatively warm in the left corner where the cable leads in? I onder if it got too hot there?

Another thing I tried: I have an identical power supply from a notebook, but the problem is the same. Somehow the flicker seems to get less a bit since the black box got warmer. Strange thing...

I have the exact same problem, did you find a solution?

Someone posted this online .. give it a try ..

Disable motion-smoothing in SteamVR or motion-reprojection in the vr settings file.

Some AMD cards / drivers it seems currently broken & causes the right eye to flicker.

On a side note, the only time I notice my HP Reverb G2 flicker bad is when I have VSYNC on within the games settings along with a higher supersampling output. I also turn off shadows or keep it on low.

I have same issue. Only left eye flickering, but ok from right side. Reboot helped before, but not this time, its 3rd day in a row flickering by now, i dont know what to do.

It's hard to tell, but unplugging the PSU when not using the HMD seemed to solve the problem for me. Maybe it's an overheating issue - mine gets very warm when not used. So I only plug it in the power supply before using it, and the flicker did not come back for the last couple of weeks. To make it disapper once it started, plug the PSU off for a couple of hours and then let it display something for 1-2h, maybe a movie - the flicker gets less and less noticeable like the srceen would recover or recalibrate. Good luck!

Yeah, same, seems to be an overheating psu unit (the little one with 3 wires). I keep it unplugged, the problem seems to be "solved".

It's not a normal situation for that product, HP you have to solde this !
