Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to re install windows 10 on my ssd but it is showing me that please ensure that disk's controller is enabled in your bios.

While I'm looking for it in my bios there is no such option available. How can I fix this issue?

Welcome to HP support community.

Disable legacy mode and check if that works.

  1. Turn off the computer.

  2. Press the power button to turn on the computer, and then immediately press the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup Menu opens.

    Startup Menu

  3. Press F10 to open BIOS Setup.

  4. Use the right arrow key to select System Configuration, use the down arrow key to select Boot Options, and then press Enter.

Boot Options selection in the System Configuration window

  5. Check for Legacy Support in the list.

  6. Boot options list including Legacy Support

  7.  use the down arrow to select Legacy Support, press Enter, select Disabled, press Enter.

  8. Press F10 to accept the changes, use the left arrow key to select Yes, and then press Enter to Exit Saving Changes to restart the computer.

Let me know if that works.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
