Hello
I’ve got a BIOS problem. I got 3F0 error, and been trying every solution I could find. I’ve now been trying to update the BIOS but I couldn’t find the update menu on my PC. I fallow every step on HP’s website but still can’t find it. I restart the PC press esc repeatedly then press f2 and here I should find a firmware option that I am unable to find on my PC. I’ve also tried to find the update BIOS option by restarting my PC then repeatedly pressing f10 and trying to find it on the menu there but I still couldn’t find it. So what can I do?

Hi @Moham5
Welcome to the HP Forum.
A 3FO error usually means the system drive has failed. You may have to replace this component.
Check this HP Site for 3FO troubleshooting tips. Try "F2", run diagnostics to confirm a failing system drive.
A BIOS update may fix the problem but this option may be a dead end. I don't think HP provides a BIOS update option in the BIOS but this could be a new option which I am not aware of. The BIOS update can be done using a USB BIOS flash drive or within Windows.
You would have to provide a specific product number or model number to locate the correct BIOS update for your MB. TG01-2000i could have various MBs installed in the PC.
Okay, checked TG01-2000i. This PC has one MB. The latest BIOS update is Here. Again, I don't think you have a BIOS problem but anything is possible.

Hi @Moham5
My pleasure.
Did you, or can you, run HP Diagnostics at startup per my previous response?
A 3FO error is usually a failing system HDD/SSD.
My previous response also had a link to the latest BIOS update for your PC if the PC has the ROM family 8860 MB.
Download and run the BIOS update on a different PC. You should get the option to create a USB BIOS recovery drive.
Connect this USB BIOS recovery drive to your PC. Start the PC.
The USB BIOS recovery drive should update the BIOS to the latest version if your MB SSID is 8860. Check this HP Support video on how to update the BIOS outside of the operating system.
